I was surprised to see that I could hit these balls as far out of bounds as the expensive ones.

Great value
Noodle+ Long and Soft (2012) is a great ball for those of us prone to lose a couple each time she play. They're not free, but they are inexpensive enough that I'm not fretting the lose of two or three. They drive fine, like most of the balls in this price range, but I prefer their feel on the green. I'm sensitive to feel, playing a Ping G60 Karsten because it has a metal face, and these balls feel as good or better than anything else that doesn't cost 4 times as much. Give them a try.
No more $5 balls into the water
After dumping so many PRO V1s into the water it was time for a reassessment. Given I'm a high handycapper, golf digest recommended the Noodle Long and Soft for my type of game. Well I'm getting the same scores with a cheaper ball so I'd highly recommend these for the golfer who's challenge is to stay under 100.
