What is Seamless Cover Technology (SCT)?
Seams play a tremendous role in the performance of many of today's golf balls. A seam on a golf ball is a straight line or "gap" where the dimples from the top half and the dimples from the bottom half of a golf ball do not meet through the compression molding process. As a result, a golf ball struck on the seam will not produce the same result because the asymmetrical dimple pattern significantly alters the aerodynamics of the golf ball and causes a wide range of flight characteristics.
Bridgestone Golf balls have never had a seam, but rather a part line, which is created where the tool that encases the core separates after the injection molding process. The resulting line of material is then shaved off. Since this part line is created by the tooling process used in injection molding and does not affect the dimple pattern of the golf ball, the part line has a minimal effect on the performance of a golf ball.
Recognizing that a truly seamless ball--no straight seam or part line--would be the ideal solid core golf ball, Bridgestone Golf created Seamless Cover Technology--a proprietary manufacturing process that eliminates the straight part line and creates a non-uniform part line around the golf ball. instead of two halves coming together to form a solid golf ball, two pieces of a golf ball actually interlock, like gears. Very Pleased
I have been playing the Bridgestone E5+ now for several months and love everything about the ball. Noticed these E5 refinished a few weeks ago and decided to give them a try. The balls look almost new and are pretty much in great condition. So far I have played 2 full rounds with these and can not tell any difference compared to a new ball or the E5+ for that matter. Excellent deal in my opinion.

Golf Balls
These were for my husband. They are nice quality for the money. I won't feel so bad when he hits one in the woods.
Great for the golfer that loses a lot of balls
If you're a good golfer, I say go buy yourself new balls. If you're hitting the balls into the water, out of bounds, and other places where you keep losing them, this is a great way to save some money and still hit a good ball. I average about a 95 on your typical 18 hole public course, so not a great golfer, but also not horrible. I have my great shots, and I have my really bad shots. I've hit all kinds of golf balls, and the Bridgestone e5 ball is one of my favorites. It's a smooth soft feel off the club, decent control, and plenty of distance. The refinished balls I got were great. No complaints.
